Akron’s Wandering Aesthetics Host Adult Story Time at the Firestone Park Library

Mon 9/18 @ 6:30PM

Storytelling is all the rage now, but Akron’s Wandering Aesthetics have been in the game a while. Join them at the Firestone Park Branch Library (1486 Aster) for B4 Bed: Stories for Adults.

Wandering Aesthetics storyteller Kyle Jozsa will share a short story done in the style of an old-fashioned radio play. That story, The Copy-Cat by Mary E. Wilkins Freeman, is about a group of schoolchildren in post-Civil War New England learning who they are.

“Participants should feel free to bring their sewing, knitting or crocheting projects, coloring books or other handheld fidget toys to enjoy as Kyle leads listeners on a tale of boys, girls and personal discovery,” they tell us. The event is free and open to the public.
