Sparx City Hop is a once-a-year opportunity to hop on a trolley and explore arts and cultural offerings in multiple city neighborhoods. From the Main Hub in PlayhouseSquare, people can take a free ride to AsiaTown, the Superior Arts District, the Gateway District and Ohio City, as well as the East Bank of the Flats where the second annual Flats Festival of the Arts will be taking place.
In each neighborhood, there will be galleries and studios open, and musicians playing including at the Main Hub where Clevland Bazaar will have a vendors’ fair and the Cleveland Museum of Art’s Studio to Go will be stationed for people to do hands-on crafts projects. Elsewhere you can check out the many artists living in the Tower Press Building which will be hosting open studios, stop in the locally owned shops in the 5th Street Arcades, and tour the Veterans Memorial Bridge subway stations.
