Party for Clean Water with the Billion Bottle Project at the Barley House

Fri 8/25 @ 8-10PM

It’s easy in the U.S. to take having clean water at your fingertips for granted (unless maybe you live in Flint, Michigan). But that’s not true in many countries. That’s why a student-led nonprofit called the Billion Bottle Project is hosting a fundraiser at the Barley House in the Warehouse District. It’s come up with a low-cost solution to waterborne disease: a solar sensor to aid in the disinfection of drinking water.

The fundraiser offers entrance to the Barley House, unlimited pizza, chicken and tenders and other snacks, and an open bar with beer, wine and well drinks. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door, and obviously, you must be at least 21.
