The ethnic church festival season rolls on, offering an immersion into yet another culture. The 2017 Greek Festival at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Cleveland Heights is a four-day whirl of Greek music and dance, church tours, a flea market and of course, the main attraction at all these festivals: lots and lots of traditional food including lamb and chicken dishes, moussaka, spinach and cheese pies, pastitsio, baklava, souvlaki and loukoumades — just like my Aunt Catherine used to make! There’ll be Greek beer too to wash it all down.

The festival is free and open to all. You can park at Severance Center and ride the shuttle service for free.
