Glenville Community Festival Returns After Hiatus With Activities for Young and Old

Sat 8/12 @ noon-7:30PM

After being cancelled last year due to fears about potential violence, the Glenville Community Festival is back this year for its 29th go-around in Sam Miller Park.

The annual parade kicks things off from 9am-noon. Then in the park there are crafts, inflatables, pony rides and games for kids including a life-sized Candyland game and a spelling bee challenge in the Children’s Village; line dancing and a free hot lunch for seniors in the Senior Village; a youth amateur boxing competition; lots of food, and five stages of entertainment including a performance by Cleveland’s own Kinsman Dazz Band and ’80s R&B hitmakers Force MDs. It’s free.
