Learn About Working Abroad at International Careers Networking Event at CSU

Thu 7/6 @ 7PM

Been thinking about looking for a country to live in that doesn’t consider health care a special privilege reserved for the wealthy? Come to International Careers Networking Night at Cleveland State University, Fenn Tower, Room 302, sponsored by the Cleveland Council on World Affairs, an informal networking event and dessert reception for interns interested in the Peace Corps, the Foreign Service and other careers that involved foreign travel and living abroad.

Speakers include CCWA president/ambassador Heather Hodges, who’ll share insights from her career in the Foreign Service, returned Peace Corps volunteer Charity McDonald, international trade specialist with U.S. Commercial Service Amy Freedom, and Camila Negret, Midwest Market Diversity leader for PwC, who will talk about foreign careers in the private sector. Perhaps they’ll share which countries are run by leaders who treat women with respect.

It’s free; to register mail Melanie Furey at mfurey@ccwa.org.
