Has it only been 20 years since the first Harry Potter novel? For a few years the community of Hudson disguised itself as Hogwarts and environs for an annual festival; now Kent does its own “Potterfest.”
Well, why not? KSU is more likely than most other colleges to teach Defence Against the Dark Arts.
See Kent’s Acorn Alley transformed into Diagon Alley, and there will be J.K. Rowling character costume contests, numerous live magic shows (of course), a Horcrux hunt, themed vendors, the Whomping Willow and more. Sorry, no dogs are allowed, not after the unfortunate incidence with Fenrir Greyback.
Admission is free, but certain events (like a concert of “Wizard rock” bands at the Kent Stage) carry an admission charge. Good thing Kent has a branch of Gringotts for the day.
