Brews + Prose, the author reading series at the Market Garden Brewery on the first Tuesday of each month, is taking place on the second Tuesday of July so it won’t interfere with Cleveland’s #1 favorite activity — watching fireworks.
Not only will writers Alissa Nutting and Nick White read from their new novels (Made for Love and How To Survive a Summer, respectively) but this month will celebrate the contributions of Brews + Prose co-founder and outgoing director Dave Lucas on the occasion of the group’s fifth anniversary. There will be a special beer available to mark the occasion. A big crowd is expected so get down early to nab a seat in Market Garden’s meeting room.
The authors’ books will be available for purchase, courtesy of Mac’s Backs on Coventry, and each book buyer gets a free beer.
