You don’t have to have infinite stamina to attend Zygote Press’s “Fun-Rai$er” Monothon unless you are going to try to stay for the whole 24-hour event.
Starting at 10am Saturday, you can come and watch some of northeast Ohio’s top artists create monoprints in the Zygote studio, including Amy Casey, Hillary Gent, Christi Birchfield, Douglas Max Utter, Kasumi, John Carlson and many many more.
If you’re not a marathoner, the “Peak Party” runs from 6-10pm Saturday evening. DJ Al Mothersbaugh will be spinning deep funk grooves, former Cleveland city councilman Joe Cimperman and Zygote co-founder Bellamy Printz will be emceeing, and partygoers can do hands-on printing as well as get first dibs on purchasing prints. Or you can come for the Bloody Mary Binger Bar and donuts on Sunday morning from 8-10am to help wind up the event.
Peak Party tickets are $25 which includes one drink ticket and a hot dog from the Happy Dog (vegan dogs available). Bloody Mary Binger Bar tickets are $15, which includes one drink.
