To complement its current exhibit THEM! featuring six photographer/musicians, the Transformer Station is hosting a series of performances by distinctive indie acts.
The next one features Collapsed Arc, the performing name of David Russell Stempowski. The Cleveland-based Stempowski musician explores audio/visual collage techniques, using samples, percussion and ordinary objects to create rhythmic loops while incorporating elements of performance art into his show. Stempowski has also been a significant part of the northeast Ohio experimental music scene as head of his Polar Envy label and co-curator of MOCA Cleveland’s Loaded concert series.
