Hard to believe but the monthly Noise Lunches at Now That’s Class turn five this week. So the members of this little fringe scene of musicians and fans who perform/enjoy highly experimental, unpredictable, freeform music (usually with a combination of electronics and regular musical instruments) will be holding an extravaganza cookout and potluck.
Come down at 3pm where they’ll be grilling out back, slicing up birthday cake and hosting party games until 5; bring a dish to share. Music, curated by Lisa Miralia and Brian Neaville, starts at 5pm. This month’s theme is “Noise Lottery.” If you’d like to perform, bring your sound generating devices and sign up by 4pm. Names will be drawn from a hat to form “bands.”
