Mulberry Creek Herb Farm’s Annual Herb Fair Fetes All Things French

Sat 6/24 & Sun 6/25 @ 10AM-5PM

Mulberry Creek Herb Farm, the family-owned organic herb farm in Huron, wraps up the main planting season every year with its Herb Fair. Each year, they pick a different theme, usually a country, and this year, it’s France. (For some reason, it’s sponsored by Danny Boys Italian Eatery, as well as Young Living Essential Oils).

The event offers food representing the cuisine of that country so expect to find French bread, cheeses, wines, quiches and of course, the annual special flavor Mitchell’s Ice Cream prepared for the festival. This year it’s lavender made with lavender grown at Mulberry Creek. There will be vegan food and ice cream options too.

The fair also features more than 50 vendors of garden décor, collectibles, candles, pottery, jewelry, body care products and much more, all-day entertainment, including a French-Canadian storyteller to entertain the kids, workshops of various herbally related topics, cooking demos and tours of the farm. In addition at 1:30 each day there will be a “Faery Parade,” in keeping with one of Mulberry Creek’s specialties: fairy gardens. If you have a fairy costume or wings, by all means wear them!

Adult admission is $5 each day which includes one free herb.
