Fiddling, Harmonizing Quebe Sisters Are Back at the Kent Stage

Fri 6/23 @ 8PM

The three harmonizing, fiddle-playing Quebe sisters, Grace, Sophia and Hulda, from Fort Worth, Texas started performing in public when they weren’t even in their teens yet, winning numerous fiddle championships together and on their own. They got plenty of performance seasoning as teenagers opening to major country artists like Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and George Strait, playing music steeped in traditional country and Western swing.

They released a couple of albums in 2003 and 2007, but they really came into their own with 2014’s Every Which-A-Way, the first real example of their fully developed grown-up style.

They’re a favorite at the Kent Stage where they’ve played a several times before and where they’re returning this week. Tickets are $25.
