If your dad is a car buff, you might want to treat him to a Father’s Day outing — to Akron’s Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, where the 60th annual Classic, Antique and Collector Car Show is taking place.
There, in the lovely outdoor surroundings of this estate, you can check out more than 40 cars manufactured between 1915-1992, including a group of 1957 vehicles in honor of the show’s first year.
There’ll also be a performance by Eddie and the Edsels — the Edsel being a 1957 debut with an infamously much shorter life span than this car show — from 11:30am-1:30pm, a kids’ pedal car course and a search for “treasure boxes” hidden on the grounds. There will be food available for purchase and a chance to stroll through the estate’s beautiful gardens. Admission is $14 for adults, $6 for ages 6-17.
