Our national parks are under assault by those who want to exploit them for private profit, who don’t see them for the public asset they are.
If you are a huge supporter of national parks and want to show how important they are to you and the community, come to Elevation, taking place at Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Ledges Shelter. There you can enjoy food, drink and live music. But unlike most benefits, you can also take a short hike and toast s’mores around a campfire. It’s rain or shine, and attire is obviously outdoorsy. Tickets are $85 and $150, and the money raised goes to Trails Forever, to help protect CVNP trails
