Yes, it’s yet another benefit for a rescue/shelter! Woof, Wag and Wine 2017 at Grand River Cellars, a benefit for the Lake Humane Society, gives you and your dog a chance to help out dogs who haven’t be fortunate enough to find someone like you yet.
For you, the human, there will be wine tasting, live music, tours of the vineyard, auctions and raffles. For your dog, there will be contests for smallest dog, largest dog, best trick, best wag and best smile. There will be some seating available, but you’re encourage to bring chairs and blankets to set up on the lawn. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 day of event, and include entry and a wine sampling. People food is also available for purchase.
