Is Your Soil Healthy? OSU Expert Will Tell You at LEAF Community Gardens

Mon 5/15 @ 6-7PM

Growing a successful garden — big, beautiful blooms and a bounteous vegetable crop — depends on the quality of the soil. Depleted soil, lacking essential nutrients, will lead to disappointing results, as will the heavy clay soil so prevalent in northeast Ohio.

Come out to the Leaf Community Garden in Lakewood’s Madison Park to learn what to do differently. There Jacqueline Kowalski from the Ohio State University Extension will provide an hour’s worth of free advice on testing your soil to find out what it needs and amending it to supplement its deficiencies.
