Leave the Car at Home on National Bike to Work Day

Fri 5/19

It’s National Bike to Work Day so of course Bike Cleveland is encouraging locals to do just that. It’s offering incentives too with “energizer stations” offering free coffee and breakfast goodies to cyclists. You’ll find them downtown on East 4th at the Bike Rack, in University Circle at CWRU’s Thwing Center, at the Lakewood Public Library in Cleveland Heights at the corner of Edgehill & Overlook, in Midtown across from Gallucci’s, at Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School in Lakeshore, and at the Breckville Fire Station. At some locations, groups are organizing to ride together; go to Bike Cleveland’s page to learn where.

In addition, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority will let passengers with bikes ride free all day, and they’ll have a bus at the Bike Rack downtown to show people how to use the front-loaded bike racks on the buses.
