Scooters and buzzards and water treatment have inspired area street festivals; now there’s one inspired by prominent local literary contest.
The INTER|URBAN Street Festival, a joint venture between LAND Studio and the Market Garden Brewery, will have a giant mural-painting party drawing, which takes cues from themes of entries in the Anisfield-Wolf Book Awards.
The evening will feature live music, food trucks, partying, arts vendors and a special themed beer created by Market Garden. Bet that stupid Booker Prize in England doesn’t have all that (well, by now they probably do). Admission is free and open to all.
