BlueWater Chamber Orchestra Closes Season With Respighi, Haydn and Mozart

Fri 5/12 @ 7:30PM

Sat 5/13 @ 7:30PM

Cleveland’s BlueWater Chamber Orchestra closes a bittersweet 2016-2017 this week. In February it lost its founder Carlton Woods who launched the group seven years ago. He had already programmed the 2017-2018 season when he died, so it will be a living legacy to his memory.

Meanwhile the group carries on. It will perform Ottorino Resphigi’s Gli Uccelli (The Birds), Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto and Haydn’s Synphony No. 83 (“The Hen”) with the orchestra’s clarinetist Amitai Vardi in the solo role in the concerto.

They’ll be performing Friday night at Rocky River Presbyterian Church, where the suggested donation is $20, and Saturday at Plymouth Church in Shaker Heights, where tickets are $23.
