It must be tea season! Two local cultural institutions, one on the west side and one on the east, are holding Victorian Tea Party fundraisers today, both at the same time. Lakewood’s Beck Center for the Arts and Euclid’s Shore Cultural Center will both be pouring tea with a tea-appropriate lunch (Beck promises “an elegant luncheon” while Shore offers sandwiches and desserts).
Both will also have raffles and entertainment: Holly Prather and Terry Willingham provide the entertainment at the Beck Center, with the Euclid Symphony Orchestra performing at the Shore Center, where guests will also get to hear garden designer and author Phillip Iannarelli talk about Victorian gardening.
And both cost $25 which goes to arts and cultural programs at the respective institutions.
