Fri 4/21 @ 5:30-11PM
The Capitol Theatre in Gordon Square has, since its revival, satisfied a longstanding need for an artsy, independent movie house on Cleveland’s west side.
Show support at a “1921 to Today” fundraising party, centered on a revival screening of Casablanca (once voted Clevelanders’ all-time favorite film in local poll; guess Finding Dory hadn’t come out yet).
There will be a party and dancing, with formal attire requested — extra points for a vintage vibe — with live music, appetizers and drinks. The Humphrey Bogart classic screens at 9pm. Admission runs $150 for VIP admission or $100 at the door after 7pm.
