Countryside Farmers Market Opens its Outdoor Season at Howe Meadow

COuntryside

Sat 4/22 @ 9AM-noon

Like the North Union Markets, the Countryside Farmers Market hosted by Cuyahoga Valley National Park’s Countryside Conservancy, has regular indoor winter markets. But it’s not REALLY the season until it moves outdoors to CVNP’s Howe Meadow.

Appropriately, opening day dovetails with Earth Day so you can help protect the environment by buying produce and other food items grown, raised and made by local producers/farmers, including the homestead farmers at CVNP. More than 50 vendors will be selling everything from baked goods to pierogies to kettle corn to dairy to coffee to buffalo meat (no, really). There are also craftspeople selling handmade goods. Stop in each Saturday morning until the end of the season (October 28) as you’ll find different vendors each week.
