Classical Revolution performs monthly at the Happy Dogs, east and west. The group, which came together in 2009, features a continually changing collective of professional-level musicians including conservatory students, faculty and alumni, as well as highly accomplished non-professional musicians looking to keep their skills in shape. They perform in a variety of non-traditional venues where they have a chance to try out musical formats and collaborations that wouldn’t fly in more traditional settings.
This week the ensemble plays its final concert of the season at the Happy Dog Euclid Tavern in University Circle. The show will include a pair of string quartets from the Cleveland Institute of Music — the Bella Quartet and the Callisto Quartet, Choral Arts Cleveland, and Cellocentric featuring Doug Wood on guitar.
