Tue 4/18 @ 7:30-10:30PM
You say you can’t dance? There’s no such thing as a non-dancer at a contra dance, such as the one tonight at Chagrin Falls Township Hall.
Similar to square dancing, contra dance emerged as a form of participatory entertainment that brought communities, families and people of all ages together. That’s still its primary goal. There’s a quick orientation session at 7:30, then dancing starts at 8pm to live music by Stomp Culture. Caller Kenny Wilson will be providing instructions throughout so you’ll never be at a loss for what to do next.
It’s $10 admission, $8 for youths.
