For more than two decades, the Israeli ensemble the Jerusalem Quartet has been dazzling audiences around the world with their outstanding musicianship and extensive repertoire. They’ve made numerous recordings and toured extensively especially in the U.S. where they’ve always been a welcome visitor to Cleveland.
They’ll be returning to perform for the Cleveland Chamber Music Society at their usual venue at Shaker Heights’ Plymouth Church. There they’ll play Joseph Haydn’s String Quartet in D major “The Lark,” Sergei Prokofiev’s String Quartet No. 1 in B minor, and Antonin Dvořák String Quartet in G major. WCLV’s Mark Satola will give the pre-concert lecture at 6:30pm. Tickets are $30.
