Bent Crayon at 78th Street Studios presents Sonic Resistance, a panel discussion about the history of Cleveland dance music culture. The panel features a cast of people who helped shape and define the Cleveland dance music scene including Rob Sherwood (1st wave DJ), Mike Filly (1st wave DJ), Doug Burkhart (owner, Grand Poo-Bas Records), Kevin & Danielle Bumpers (promoters, Groovehaus) and John Cellura (owner, Bent Crayon Records) and will be moderated by Red Tailed Hawk Luna. They will discuss opposition to societal norms, amplifying the voices of the unheard, and building community through music. It’s free.
