There may still be a chill in the air, but it really is spring, and the Cleveland Botanical Garden us celebrating. It’s just opened its family-friendly Big Spring event, which runs through Sun 4/23, featuring indoor AND outdoor activities to take into account the unpredictable weather at this time of the year.
Inside you’ll find things such a Mad Hatter tea party, mealworm races, a garden hedge maze, Toadstool Theatre dress up, paddle bug boats, an oversized chess/checkers game and more along with outdoor activities in the Hershey Children’s Garden. When weather permits. There’ll be daily butterfly releases in the glasshouse and spring blooms everywhere, including hydrangeas, hyacinths and lilies.
It’s open Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays from 10am-5pm, Wednesdays from 10am-9pm and Sundays from noon-5pm. Admission is $12 for adults, $8 for kids 3-12, free 2 and under.
