Where are all the hardcore cat-lovers going to be on Saturday night? At the Waterloo Alley Cat Project benefit at the Slovenian Workmen’s Home, of course!
It’s an evening-long celebration of all things feline, as well as a fundraiser for the North Collinwood volunteer-run group that spays/neuters and cares for feral and abandoned cats in the neighborhood.
Its 8th annual fundraiser will feature food, a cash bar, music by Ace Molar, basket raffles, silent auctions, a $1,000 grand raffle, WACP merch for sale, and of course, the group’s amazing slide show of cat pictures showing their colony residents as well as the socialized cats they’ve adopted out. Plus you get to hang out with a room full of people who love cats as much as you do. Tickets are $20, and if you want to bring a donation of cat food or other cat supplies, that will be welcome too.
