To celebrate the 85th consecutive annual Bach Festival, Baldwin Wallace departs their idyllic Berea campus for the cool 78th Street Studios for Out of the Bachs, an interdisciplinary music event guaranteed to tickle the taste buds of anyone who loves the arts.
Collaborating with Verb Ballets, the Westerhuizen Duo, BW associate professor of voice Nancy Maultsby, and a couple of BW alums who are making names for themselves on Broadway: Sara Masterson ’16 and Chris McCarrell ’13.
CoolCleveland was there at 78th Street Studios to meet with Dirk Garner, BW’s chair of conducting and ensembles, and Pierre van der Westhuizen, pianist executive director of the Cleveland International Piano Competition. View the video here.
