While the weather outside at this time of year can be frightful, the Coit Road Farmers Market, which runs year-round every Saturday from 8am-1pm, has its own building to keep you cozy and warm while you shop the wares from the local farmers and food producers.
It also has a kitchen area in the back where most weeks, market manager Kevin Schuering conducts cooking demos, with samples available. This week, he’s bringing back a customer favorite, as he prepares sausages.
“I had decided to not do a sausage demo this winter because I figured I had covered it from as many angles as I could the last several years,” says Scheuring. “Well … I changed my mind. Not yet sure what angle I’ll be working from or what I’ll be doing but you’ll find out soon enough.”
