Storytelling events in bars have become all the rage. And who doesn’t have a broke-heart story somewhere in their past that they’d like to air on Valentine’s Day as catharsis?
Come down to the Grog Shop’s Love Me Not Valentine’s Day storytelling event. Four to five pre-selected storytellers (email grograchel@gmail.com if you’d like to be considered) will air their tales of embarrassingly sentimental mix tapes they made for the guy who was about to break up with them or the mash note they never intended to send that somehow got in their crush’s mailbox. Music will be provided by Leah Lou of Leah Lou & the 2 Left Shoes and Shawn Brewster of Oldboy.
