Learn What’s Behind the Attacks on Contraception at the Dittrick Museum of Medical History

Thu 3/9 @ 5:30-7PM

We now know that the entire “pro-life” movement, more accurately called the anti-choice movement, is based on falsehoods and hypocrisy. How do we know this? Because in recent years, it’s torn off its own mask of phony compassion for the “unborn” with its ramped-up assaults on contraception — the single most effective way of decreasing the actual numbers of abortions.

The Dittrick Museum of Medical History and Advocates for Cleveland Health are sponsoring a program called Controversial Coverage: Faith and the Fight to Insure Contraception, taking place at the Ford Auditorium of the Allen Memorial Library on the CWRU campus.

Jesse Hill, associate dean of the CWRU School of Law, will talk about the history of this “faith-based” since the 1990s and the legal, religious and philosophical issues underlying the heated debate about women’s reproductive health care.

The program is free but registration is requested. Go here.

This event is actually on Thursday March 9th at 6:00pm. Also the last sentences of this story seems to be missing some words?
