Each year, customers of Rudy’s Strudel look forward to Paczki Day, a celebration of the deep-fried, filled Polish pastry that people come from all over to enjoy. There’s music, dancing, specials and more, starting very early in the morning, as customers line up to stock up on their favorite among the more than two dozen types.
That takes place Tue 2/28. But this year, to introduce the 2017 paczki flavor, they’ve hooked up with Mahall’s 20 Lanes in Lakewood to present Paczki, Pins and Pints, a paczki and pierogi pop-up. Enjoy these traditional Eastern European foods, along with $3 pints and half-price bowling. If you like the new paczki, it will go on sale at Rudy’s, along with the other types, the next day.
