ChamberFest Cleveland Holds Chamberstock Benefit at Rustbelt Reclamation

Chamberstock

Sat 2/25 @ 6-10PM

ChamberFest Cleveland, founded by Cleveland Orchestra principal clarinetist emeritus Franklin Cohen and his daughter Diana, concertmaster of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, will be hosting its sixth season in 2017. In that time, it’s grown in size and stature, adding winter programming as well. But it’s kept its eye on its original mission: presenting chamber music ensembles of various sizes and compositions in a variety of venues in the community (including some non-traditional ones) over a period of approximately two weeks.

Of course, like most arts groups, it has created a signature benefit to support its work. Chamberstock, taking place at the warehouse workspace of Rustbelt Reclamation which handcrafts interior décor from salvaged materials, offers a fun evening of food, drink and music of all types, not just classical, at various music stations throughout the large space. Murray Hill Market is providing the appetizers, and wines and craft beers come from the Wine Spot in Cleveland Heights, one of the offbeat venues ChamberFest has performed. There’ll also be a live auction hosted by WCLV’s Robert Conrad.

Tickets are $200 for general admission, but if you are 21-35 they’re only $125. To purchase call 216-471-8887 or go to chamberfestcleveland/chamberstock-gala
