One of the highlights of the Akron Symphony season is always its Gospel Meets Symphony concert. It’s an event where the symphony gets to collaborate with and showcase some of the amazing talent in the community.
Nearly 200 members of local church choirs and their star soloists share the stage at E.J. Thomas Hall with the orchestra, its music director Christopher Wilkins and Gospel Meets Symphony choir master Jennifer Mekel Jones to debut eight new songs.
Tickets are $20-$55.
