If you’d like to immerse yourself in the music early-mid 20th century Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev, who has composed a number of popular works pretty much everyone knows (Peter & the Wolf is a staple of children’s concerts), the Cleveland Orchestra offers you that opportunity this weekend.

The evening opens with one of those familiar works, a suite from his opera The Love for Three Oranges, which debuted in 1921 when the composer was just 30. That will be followed by his Violin Concerto No. 1, with Canadian James Ehnes (pictured) in the solo role. It closes with the suite from Romeo and Juliet. Stéphane Denève conducts the orchestra.

Tickets are $29-$149.
