Fri 10/28 @ 8-9PM

We told you all about Cleveland artist Loren Naji’s large hollow spherical sculpture EMOH, in which he lived for nearly a month while competing in the Grand Rapids ArtPrize. He finished in the final 20 of over 1,400 entries but fell short of the prize.

If you’d like to hear from Loren’s own mouth about his experiences up in Michigan and learn more about why he did the project, drop by his Ohio City studio where he will give a brief talk about the project. He’ll tell you how he came up with the idea, how he built the sphere, what it was like living in it and what he was trying to convey. He’ll also talk about what’s come out of the project and where it’s going in the future. There will be an audience Q&A and an afterparty at a location to be disclosed. It’s free.
