Series of Classes Teaches Would-Be Storytellers to Craft and Deliver Their Tales

Storytelling

Wed 9/7-Wed 10/26 @ 7-9PM

Perhaps you’ve been hearing about Story Club Cleveland, where both experienced storytellers and novices who think they have something interesting to say get up in a bar such as the Bottlehouse or the Happy Dog and tell their tale to the crowd. And maybe you think “I could never do that.” But maybe you can!

Build your confidence by learning effective storytelling techniques at a new storytelling workshop being offered by Literary Cleveland. Host Dana Norris will help you learn how to organize your story into a coherent and impactful narrative and how to deliver it most effectively

The class meets on alternate Wednesdays in September and October, starting Wed 9/7, from 7-9pm, followed by a public performance on Wed 10/26 @ 7PM. That gives you plenty of time to get used to the idea of telling your story in public. The classes will take place at Market Garden Brewery.

Cost for the series is $75 or $60 for Literary Cleveland members.
