Some of us don’t need an excuse to check out the big cats at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. But if you’d like an extra incentive to do so, Community Assessment & Treatment Services (fortuitously abbreviated as CATS), which works with recovering addicts and those with mental health issues to keep their lives on track, is holding its gala at the Stillwater Place events center at the zoo.

The CATS at the Zoo fundraiser starts with cocktails at 5, followed by dinner at 6:30pm. The Helen Welch Quartet, featuring jazz/pop vocalist Welch will perform, and there will be a silent auction, raffles and a drawing for a Costa Rica getaway.

Tickets are $80 per person and $150 per couple and can be purchased online at community-assessment
