Relive the Fun of Lottery League at the Rock Hall’s Summer in the City Series

Summer in the City

Wed 8/24 @ 6-9PM

Lottery League, that event where musicians’ names are thrown into a hopper and pulled to form random bands which prepare short sets for “the Big Show,” only rolls around every three years or so. And after the two-month period of preparation and rehearsal leading up to the Big Show, some bands just want to draw out the excitement a little longer.

The Rock Hall’s Summer in the City series is giving them the chance. Five of the bands of relative strangers who assembled 15-minute sets for that event at the Agora last April will have a chance to reprise them on the outdoor plaza of the Rock Hall (or on the indoor lobby stage if it rains). Hear encore performances by Forager, Perpendicular Crosstalk, Quiet Bombs, Halloween Candy and Serlin Spur. There’ll be food trucks and craft beer, making this an evening hangout. It’s free.
