If you were planning to take a picnic basket out to Blossom Music Center to sit on the lawn and enjoy some classical music under the stars, better hurry. Here’s one more chance. Tonight the New York-based Orpheus Chamber Orchestra will be visiting Blossom for the first time. They’ll play four of Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos — nos 3, 5, 6 and 2. The 46-year-old ensemble is different in that it is conductor-less and works and performs as a democratic ensemble. Come hear how this collaborative process impacts these familiar pieces of music.
