Valley Art Center’s Art by the Falls has been a favorite area art event for 33 years. Even if you aren’t all that much into art, it’s a lovely stroll through Riverside Park in downtown Chagrin Falls — and who knows? You might see something that catches your eye among the work of the many artists in a variety of genres from painting to photography, jewelry to glass to ceramics.
There’s a lot more than just art. There’ll be live music all day both days on a stage in the center of the park, a kids’ tent and a food court where you’ll find a range of offerings including treats from downtown Chagrin Falls’ legendary Popcorn Shop (or you could just walk across the street and check out their retro ambiance too). And the demo tent will feature artists doing ceramics, plein air painting and caricatures. Inspired? You can sign up for classes at the Valley Art Center on the spot!
