Second Friday and Last Saturday of Every Month
Join the fun and swing dance to a live band twice a month. Swing to the finest musicians around: Ernie Krivda and the Fat Tuesday Big Band, The Mike Petrone Band, Blue Lunch, Syncopated Sin Swing Band, Hepcat Revival, Red Light Roxy, Swing Time Big Band, Dan Zola Orchestra, Blue DeVille, Keith Jones and the Makeshifts, Swing City Big Band and others have performed live for Get Hep Swing dances recently.
Arrive at 8PM for an hour of free Get Hep Swing Jitterbug dance lessons. Stay till midnight and dance your heart out. And remember, you can bring a spouse or friend, but you don’t need a partner! Meet your friends, learn to dance.
All dances organized by Valerie Salstrom of Get Hep Swing, First Place winner at major competitions like the World Fast Dance Championships. the Pro Lindy Division and the Pro Balboa Division.
On the second Friday of every month, the dancing takes place at the Lakewood Masonic Temple, 15300 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, OH 44107.
Then, on the last Saturday of each month, the scene shifts to the Waterloo Ballroom in the Slovenian Workmen’s Home, 15335 Waterloo Road, Cleveland, OH 44110.
