Now in its 10th year, the former Gordon Square Market has made yet another move in 2016 — of the main Detroit drag to the rapidly growing Battery Park development. It still offers the same quality mix of local vendors, including some who are community gardeners on nearby streets. But it moves the market out of a parking lot into a space that’s a more pleasing place to hang out, with adjacent green space and a view of Lake Erie. The market accepts SNAP and WIC.
The market still takes place on Wednesdays from 4-7pm. For 2016, it runs from 6/23-9/21.
