Maple Ridge Winery, which calls itself “A Bistro Style Winery in the Country,” is off the beaten path but is a lovely winery that serves a small clientele of members and new visitors. The charm of the winery is unexpected, as one enters it through a doorway surrounded by flowers after traveling down a gravel road.
The winery believes in French oak barrels and hand-picked grapes and although not certified organic, uses organic methods in the production of its estate-bottled European-style wines made from old world vinifera grapes. Visitors will enjoy wine-making stories from owners Patti and Jim Iubelt.
