Ninja City Kitchen and Bar

Ninja City Kitchen and Bar was opened by Bac Nguyen of popular Tremont eatery Bac in August 2014 in University Circle, undoubtedly intending to take advantage of the growing population of Asian students at nearby Case Western Reserve University. The quick-eats place (it calls its offerings  “Asian street food”) pulls together flavors from China, Korean, Japan and Vietnam on its short menu which features inexpensive, snacks called “small bites” for snacks and heartier, full-meal “big bites.” Its drink menu features a handful of signature cocktails with an Asian flair, a longer list of craft beers from as close as Cleveland and as far as Asian, sake and wine. Comic book and graffiti décor, video games and TV screens give the place a lively, youthful gathering-place vibe. It’s open until 2am Fridays and Saturdays.
