One of many businesses incubated at the Hildebrandt Building on the edge of Ohio City, Storehouse Tea offers organic, fair-trade, handcrafted whole leaf teas, packaged by a team of young refugee women. Owner Paula Hershman is a certified organic tea blender, and her list of more than 50 flavors covers white, green, black, oolong and herbal blends, and every taste, from standards like Earl Grey and Russian Caravan, from refreshing summery blends like ginger lime to robust wintery teas like the smoky Lapsang Souchong. Storehouse is also open on Tuesdays for Tea Tuesdays from 10am-6pm for those who want to stop in, see the facility and purchase teas.
