The Cleveland Print Room, located on the first floor of the ArtCraft Building in AsiaTown, opened in February 2013 with a dual mission.
It offers membership access to its darkroom for photographers still into making prints with enlargers and chemicals not computers and classes and workshops for those who’d like to learn what they did before the digital days.
It also has a roomy, attractive gallery space with regular shows that feature the work of both local and out-of-town photographers and scored a major coup when it displayed the work of the late Chicago street photographer Vivian Maier. Cleveland Print Room’s opening receptions are must-stops for Cleveland’s arts community as it’s become a focal point for the area photography scene.
