Café Tandoor, one of the area’s earliest establishments to dish up the now-popular Indian food, has three outposts now. They all serve a similar extensive menu featuring pakora and samosa appetizers, curries, tandoor specialities like kabobs, and a long list of vegetarian dishes like aloo jeera (potatoes with onions) and baigan bharta (eggplants, tomatoes, onions, and peas.) Fresh nan (tandoori bread) comes in aromatic varieties like onion, garlic, vegetable, lamb and pistachio/cashew.
